Lakeway Wildflowers

The Lakeway Wildflowers are a vibrant women's a cappella group specializing in the barbershop style. Founded in 2002, we've been sharing our love of four-part harmony with audiences in Lakeway and beyond for over two decades. We're a group of women who are passionate about singing, friendship, and creating beautiful music together. We rehearse weekly and perform at various community events, private parties, and festivals. Our repertoire spans classic barbershop arrangements to contemporary songs with a barbershop twist.

2025: A Year in Harmony with the Lakeway Wildflowers

What an incredible year it has been for the Lakeway Wildflowers! From the spark of our first rehearsals in January to the festive glow of our December performances, 2025 has been defined by musical growth, community connection, and—of course—plenty of high-energy entertainment.

As we look back on the highlights, it’s clear that our voices have never been stronger, and our bond with the local community has never been deeper.

🎤 The Main Event: On Stage & Screen

While we have not put on a show since 2018, we went all out in 2025.  This year’s production, "On Stage & Screen," was a resounding success. We took our audience on a melodic journey through the best of Broadway and the silver screen.

• The Music: From the sweeping drama of classic cinema scores to the high-energy showstoppers of modern musical theater, the repertoire pushed our vocal boundaries and delighted fans of all ages.

• The Atmosphere: With record attendance, the energy in the room was electric. The feedback from the community was overwhelming, with many noting the professional choreography and the seamless blend of our harmonies.

• The Impact: This show remains our favorite way to celebrate the "Wildflower spirit"—hard work, a bit of sparkle, and a lot of heart.

 Patriotic Pride: July 4th

The Lakeway July 4th celebration is a hometown tradition we wouldn't miss for the world. This year, we were honored to lead the community in song once again.

• The Performance: We brought a setlist of patriotic favorites to the festivities, providing the soundtrack to a day of independence and community pride.

• The Connection: Seeing the sea of red, white, and blue in the audience while we sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" and other American classics reminded us why we love being Lakeway’s premier vocal group.

🎄 A Season of Giving: Christmas & Holiday Gigs

We closed out the year by spreading holiday cheer throughout Lakeway. Our December calendar was packed with "Christmas Gigs" that brought the magic of the season to life.

• Community Outreach: We performed at local senior living centers and private holiday gatherings.

• Festive Repertoire: Our setlist featured a mix of traditional carols and contemporary holiday hits, designed to warm hearts and get toes tapping in the winter chill.

Looking Ahead to 2026

While we are taking a brief moment to celebrate everything we achieved this year, we are already looking toward the future. Our mission remains the same: to bring high-quality choral music to the Lake Travis community and to provide a vibrant creative outlet for our members.
